Skilled-Recognised Graduate Visa (Subclass 476) Closes to New Applications

Closure of New Applications

You can no longer apply for a Skilled-Recognised Graduate Visa (subclass 476). A cap was placed on this visa on December 22, 2023, and it was permanently closed to new applications from July 1, 2024.

Duration of Current Visas

If you already hold a Skilled-Recognised Graduate Visa (subclass 476), it will remain valid until the expiry date provided when your visa was granted.

Visa Benefits

With this visa, you can:

• Live, study, and work in Australia temporarily.
• Travel in and out of Australia any number of times while the visa is valid.

Obligations for Visa Holders

You and your family members must comply with all visa conditions and Australian laws. During your stay in Australia, you must:

• Maintain adequate health insurance.
• Continue to meet the requirements under which the visa was granted.
• Leave Australia when your visa ends unless you are granted another visa.

Family Members

No subsequent entrant applications can be lodged from July 1, 2024.
