Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on leads and inquiries
  • Conduct consultations to understand client requirements and suggest the appropriate courses.
    Design a reasonable and effective study plan in line with students’ past qualifications and work history (as per the client profile)
  • Manage student applications, selection, and admission with the team.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of student visa conditions
  • Assisting clients with Statement of Purpose (SOP)
  • Corresponding with education partners to ensure a smooth admission process
  • Assist clients with university applications, offer letters, Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), and student visa
  • Assist clients in preparing documents for Australian student visa applications.
  • Follow through on student inquiries, requests, or complaints and provide information and assistance as required

Role-specific requirements

  • Have excellent customer service awareness and strong communication skills both speaking and writing.
  • Detailed understanding of the Australian states and the universities.
  • Understanding of the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
  • Understanding of university-level pathways, TAFE-level qualifications, and various courses in Australian Universities.
  • Well-versed with different entry requirements of Australian universities’ bachelor and master courses.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good team player: eager to learn and grow in a team environment
  • Good computer skills
  • QEAC certification (If already received) will be an added advantage

Experience and Education requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of counselling experience in education in Australia.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in any discipline.
  • International Education Background would be advantageous.

The Full-time Registered Migration Agent Role

  • The role is based in a centrally located cozy, sunny office in Preston near the station and market precinct
  • Ongoing Training & Development by Principal RMA will be provided
  • Monday to Friday role with focus on Life/Work balance

Your duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • As the Registered Migration Agent you will effectively manage all aspects of current client cases of the practice ranging from GSM to Partner, to Parent, AAT Reviews, Character Submissions, Student Extensions/ Graduate Visas and others
  • Ideally strong working knowledge of General Skilled Migration (GSM) from start to finish with a grip on Skills Assessments, State Nominations, Expressions of Interest (EOI), partner and family migration, employer sponsored migration along with understanding of Student/Graduate Visas, AAT Reviews and Character & PIC 4020 Submissions (would be advantageous)
  • Provide timely and accurate advice regarding visa options and other related immigration issues such as reviews, refusals/cancellations
  • Meet with and communicate regularly with clients and applicants to prepare high quality decision-ready visa applications
  • Prepare missing documents checklist and following up from clients in a timely manner
  • Prepare high standard, technically sound submissions and visa applications with the Department of Home Affairs
  • Be accountable for maintaining up-to-date client records and Code of Conduct- compliant files
  • Effectively liaise with new and potential clients and provide seamless service experience
  • Assist with practice’s marketing campaigns and participate in the events and webinars (as required)
  • Work on other business-related projects as required
  • Aptitude & ability to meet and exceed KPI’s, deadlines and maintain open communication with Principal and Registered Migration Agent

The Practice

Due to organic growth, we are now seeking a part-time experienced Administration & Marketing Support (Migration Administration Assistant) to support the Principal RMA in our Preston office.

The Person

  • You are passionate about assisting clients with one of the biggest decisions of their life – migrating to Australia
  • Ideally you have a strong administration background in dealing with Australian migration law matters
  • The person have the natural ability to smile and stay calm under pressure
  • Gifted with an exceptional eye for detail, are efficient and able to manage deadlines
  • Have a collaborative approach to your work as well as the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • You are confident in liaising with Government bodies, Skill Assessment authorities and clients from overseas students to CXO leveL


The Part-time Role

  • You take pride in your work and are seeking a challenging and rewarding part-time role
  • The role is based in a centrally located cozy, sunny office in Preston near the station and market precinct
  • The person should ideally work about four hours daily (during school hours or flexible) or spread over four days in the week

Your tasks will include (but not limited to):

  • Prepare a range of documents applications including:
  • Skill Assessments, State Nominations, Expressions of Interest, Employer Nominations, DHA Visa applications, Client Agreements, AAT Appeal submissions
  • Documents sorting, scanning, collating and uploading
  • Prepare missing documents checklist and following up from clients
  • Take and screen phone calls, answer client questions on case status etc.
  • Maintain client files in cloud-based storage
