New Pathway for SC491 NSW applicants!
The NSW nomination for Skilled Work Regional Visa (subclass 491) earlier had two pathways, first, by applying directly to an RDA office and second, by being invited by Investment NSW. The third and new pathway has opened up for the applicants i.e., Regional NSW-based direct pathway.
The Government of New South Wales participates in the 491 visa program to support its regional economies and communities through the settlement of highly skilled migrants who are committed to living and working in regional NSW long term.

Under this new pathway, the applicants must have the following in order to apply:
1. Eligibility for this visa subclass on the Home Affairs website
2. Currently working in nominated occupation and living in designated regional area of NSW, continuously for the past 12 months for a minimum of 20 hours per week
3. Valid skills assessment
4. Salary at least the TMIT Level or $53,900 per annum excluding superannuation
5. Evidence for points claimed in SkillSelect EOIs
