Visa Processing Manager (Australian Visa)

Position Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and lodgement of a variety of visa applications. The successful candidate will efficiently manage all stages of visa processing, leveraging industry-leading Australian migration law software, Migration Manager. With exceptional attention to detail and clear communication skills, you will foster an effective workflow with both internal and external clients.

Expertise in General Skilled Migration (GSM) and Employer Sponsored Visas is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Visa Application Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of visa applications, particularly GSM and Employer Sponsored Visas, ensuring legal accuracy, timely lodgment, and adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Client Communication & Interaction: Engage confidently with clients and corporate partners via MS Teams, Zoom, and email to manage visa processes, provide updates, and ensure seamless communication throughout the application stages.
  • Document Review & Management: Regularly review and verify client-uploaded documents in the Migration Manager portal, maintaining meticulous records in compliance with the OMARA Code of Conduct and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Liaison & Regulatory Research: Act as the primary point of contact with the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), managing RFIs, staying up-to-date with visa requirements, and conducting research to support complex cases.
  • Software & Workflow Utilization: Expertly utilize Migration Manager and other company software to streamline client matter initiation, e-lodgments, and communication, driving efficiency an
  • Project & Relationship Management: Manage new prospect matters, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in marketing campaigns to attract and retain clients.
  • Application Lodgment & Support: Ensure the timely and accurate lodgment of applications, provide research support for complex cases, and maintain an unwavering focus on achieving positive outcomes.
  • Communication & Client-Centric Approach: Leverage exceptional written and oral communication skills to deliver value-driven services, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Candidate Must Have

  • Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience in Australian Visa Processing.
  • Visa Processing Expertise & Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth experience with General Skilled Migration (GSM) and Employer Sponsored Visas, along with a current understanding of Australian migration laws.
  • Analytical & Project Management Skills: Strong ability to review and verify documentation for legal accuracy and manage the entire visa application process with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in using Migration Manager and other relevant tools to ensure efficient client matter management.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with experience interacting effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Client-Focused & Organizational Skills: A genuine commitment to delivering value to clients, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility & Experience: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a dynamic environment, ideally with a graduate degree.
